Parish priest Cornel Grecu

• Born on August 16, 1979 in  Corabia town, Olt county, from parents Gheorghe and Georgeta. The second child of the family.

• He spent his childhood in Gura-Padinii commune, Olt county, where  he also finished the primary classes of the General School with grades I-VIII from the locality.

• 1990 -1994 - gymnasium stitches at the General School Nr. 3 from Corabia city, Olt county

• 1994 - 1999 - the courses of the Normal School / Pedagogical High School 'Nicolae Titulescu' from Slatina city, Olt county, teacher-educator specialization

• September 1999 - September 2000 - teacher at the General School with grades I-VIII from Ianca commune, Olt county

• October 2000 - June 2004 - student at the Pastoral Department of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Craiova, Romania. Bachelor's thesis 'Icon - call to deification' under the coordination of Fr. Prof. Dr. Konstantinos Karaisaridis

• October 2001 - June 2005 - student at the Social Work Department of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Craiova, Romania . Bachelor's thesis ' The implications of social integration in institutionalized children  'under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Ioan Andronic.

• October 2004 - June 2005 - master studies 'Doctrine and culture' at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology  of the University of Craiova, Romania. The dissertation 'Orthodox spirituality reflected in the icon' under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ionel Ungureanu

• June 2002 - graduate of the Popular School of Arts 'Cornetti' from Craiova, painting department.

• July 2004 - one month internship at the workshop of the Iconographer Spiridonos KardamaKi in Athens, Greece, with the help and support of Father Konstantinos Karaisaridis.

• November 2004 - March 2005 - assistant coordinator on the social project 'In the arms of the mother', of the Metropolitan Church of Oltenia

• October 2005 - June 2007 - master studies 'Management in Social Work' at West University, Timisoara, Romania. The dissertation 'Organizational culture of the Christian Orthodox Philanthropy Foundation from Timisoara' under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Corina Ilin.

• June 2005- August 2006 - employed at the New Horizons Foundation from Lupeni, Romania. Working in the summers of 2005 and 2006 in the adventure camp 'Viata', as a spiritual leader and in the IMPACT youth clubs of the Foundation.

• September 2006- June 2007 - educator at Kindergarten with extended program No. 32, Timisoara, Romania.

• July 2006 - training on 'Leadership' at Neptun with ANT

• July 2007 - training on 'Project Management' in Mamaia with ANT

• August 2007 - August 2010 - lives in Birmingham, UK with the Gannon family. He worked as an Au-pair, support worker and took a series of ESOL English courses at Bournville College, Cambridge First Certicate and IELTS at Brasshouse Language Center. He actively participated in the establishment of the Romanian Orthodox Parish 'Saint  Apostle Andrew 'of Birmingham, being vice-president of the Parish Council and singer;

• November 2009 is ordained read for St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Birmingham by His Eminence Metropolitan Joseph

• July 17, 2010 - he marries Geanina Veronica at the Wedding House in Timisoara

• July 18, 2010 - the church marriage takes place at the Straja Hermitage, Lupeni, Romania

• September 2010 - currently lives in Coventry, UK

• September 8, 2011 - Matei Filotei Grecu is born, baptized on October 23, 2011.

• December 18, 2011 - is ordained deacon by His Holiness Bishop Ignatius Mureseanul , on behalf of the Romanian Orthodox Parish 'Saint Andrew the Apostle' in Birmingham, Great Britain

• December 18, 2011 - July 21, 2014 - served as a deacon in 'St. Andrew the Apostle' Parish in Birmingham, UK

• July 22, 2012  is ordained a priest by His Eminence Bishop Ignatius Mureseanul , within the 'Holy Apostle Andrew' Parish in Birmingham, as a co-minister priest with the special task of dealing with the future Mission of Coventry.

• November 17, 2012 - The Romanian Orthodox Mission Coventry officially begins its activity with the celebration of the Holy Mass

• November 18, 2012 - July 12, 2014 - serves in parallel at the 'Saint Apostle Andrew' Parish in Birmingham and at the Romanian Orthodox Mission 'Saint Veronica' in Coventry

• Lazar's Saturday 2013 - receives ordination as a clergyman , after the Sacrament of the Holy Anointing at Northampton Parish from His Eminence Metropolitan Father Joseph

• September 2012 to August 2014 coordinates the activities of the Birmingham Parish Children's School

• July 12, 2014 - On the day of the feast, the metropolitan grammar was raised for the elevation to the rank of parish of the mission and the appointment of Father Cornel as parish priest

• From July 12, 2014 until now he is the parish priest of the Romanian Orthodox Parish 'Saint Veronica' in Coventry.

• November 24, 2014 is born Maria Veronica Grecu , baptized on December 26, 2014.

• July 18, 2018 is born Teofan Irodion Grecu , baptized on August 16, 2018.

• August 6, 2018 , a particle from the Holy Relics of Saint Pious Herodion from Lainici for Coventry Parish is received as a donation from Lainici Monastery

• On September 8, 2018 , the regular service begins, two Saturdays a month in Rugby , a branch of Coventry Parish.

• March 29, 2021  is born  Timotei Ignatie Grecu  baptized on July 11, 2021.
